The Perpich Center for Arts Education strengthens the arts education community, and improves access to high quality arts experiences to students statewide.

Resources for Arts Educators
Through grants, research, and professional development programs, the Center helps arts educators create learning environments that are stimulating, engaging, and effective for all kinds of learners.

Educators throughout Minnesota get easy access to professional best-practices through publications and curriculum tools.

In partnership with the Department of Education, the center plays a leadership role in the design and implementation of K12 Arts Standards.

Arts High School
The Arts High School is a comprehensive, tuition-free public high school offering a rigorous academic program, with intensive coursework focused in six art areas: dance, literary arts, media arts (photography/cinema), music, theater, and visual arts.

Library
With over 17,000 items in its catalog, the Library collection includes interdisciplinary curriculum planning examples, and a wide variety of materials for K-12 educators. Get your free membership!

Serving Minnesota Students
An agency of the State of Minnesota, the Perpich Center serves students, teachers, artists, schools, and arts organizations throughout Minnesota. The Center’s mission is to provide all Minnesota students the opportunity to develop and integrate their artistic and academic abilities to their highest potential.

Legacy Project

The Perpich Arts Integration Project is a new initiative to increase student achievement through arts integration that is funded through the Arts and Cultural Heratige Fund.
